-bring up the CopyPaste Palette, then click on any clip in the content area to see the Clipboard Viewer:
-use the mouse to pull the Cut, Copy or Paste submenus in the "Edit" menu down to "Clipboard Viewer ...":
-if the CopyPaste Utilities Menu is activated in the preferences, you will find the "Clipboard Viewer ..." command in the CopyPaste Utilities submenu.
The Clip Viewer window can be resized and positioned independently from the the Clip Extender. Thereby you can view a large portion of the copied data centered on the screen without repositioning the Clip Extender. The popup feature however only works in the Clip Extender/Clip Recorder.
In the Clipboard Viewer the utilities behave differently. In the normal view a utility will first copy any selected item and then work on the copied data: it works directly on the selected data and uses the default clipboard for the data transaction. In the Clipboard Viewer each utility works only on the displayed data and will neither copy the selection nor paste over it.
Just below the viewer area is the info area which describes the contents of that clipboard.
